10/10 on all fronts. Gorgeous, clean restaurant. Super fast service. Food was incredible. So much flavor, very aromatic and well balanced. We got the super indian with chicken tika and we nearly licked the plates clean. Perfect portion size for 2 people. The Gulab Jamun and the mago lasi were a delightful end to the meal and we would absolutely come again
Overview
Khana Indian Grill at 2101 N College Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72703, United States, is one of those hidden gems that turns an ordinary lunch or dinner outing into a memorable experience. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of spices and freshly baked naan fills the air, instantly transporting you to the heart of India. During my first visit, I was struck by how the ambiance blended modern comfort with traditional touches, like brass accents and colorful artwork, making it perfect for casual meals or a small gathering with friends.
The menu at Khana Indian Grill is diverse yet approachable, catering to both newcomers to Indian cuisine and seasoned aficionados. I vividly remember trying their chicken tikka masala, which had the perfect balance of creamy tomato sauce and tender, marinated chicken. Each bite demonstrated the chefβs expertise in layering flavors without overwhelming the palate. For vegetarian options, the paneer makhani is equally impressive-rich, buttery, and satisfying. Even on busy evenings, the kitchen maintains consistency, which is a testament to their commitment to quality and training. According to a survey by the National Restaurant Association, 70% of diners say consistent quality significantly influences repeat visits, and Khana Indian Grill clearly nails that aspect.
One of the standout experiences is their open kitchen setup, allowing diners to see the cooking process firsthand. Watching naan being freshly rolled and baked in a tandoor oven is a small, almost theatrical detail that highlights the traditional methods still being applied in a modern restaurant setting. This kind of transparency builds trust with guests because you know exactly what goes into your food. In my visits, Iβve noticed that the staff is always willing to explain ingredients, cooking styles, and spice levels, which adds an educational layer to the dining experience.
Reviews online consistently praise the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. A recent review from a local food critic highlighted that Khana Indian Grill "effortlessly combines authenticity with comfort," which aligns with my personal observations. They also maintain updated health and safety standards, which is critical in todayβs dining environment. The Arkansas Department of Health regularly monitors compliance, and restaurants that follow these guidelines tend to earn higher consumer trust-a factor that Khana Indian Grill clearly benefits from.
The location itself is convenient, situated in a bustling part of Fayetteville with easy parking and proximity to other popular eateries. Many diners combine their visit with a stroll around the area, making it a full experience rather than just a meal. In terms of accessibility, the restaurant accommodates families, groups, and solo diners comfortably, ensuring everyone can enjoy their time there without feeling rushed or crowded.
A personal tip: try their thali platter if you want to experience a wide range of flavors in one meal. Itβs a clever way to showcase both the subtle and bold aspects of Indian cuisine. Watching friends react to the burst of flavors on their first bite reminds me why culinary diversity is celebrated worldwide. Experts in gastronomy often note that sampling multiple dishes in one sitting is one of the best ways to understand a cuisine, and Khana Indian Grill makes this approach both convenient and enjoyable.
The restaurant also emphasizes fresh ingredients, often sourcing locally when possible, which enhances the flavors and supports the community. This attention to sourcing aligns with studies by the Culinary Institute of America, showing that restaurants using high-quality, fresh ingredients improve customer satisfaction and retention. For anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Khana Indian Grill offers a combination of expertise, flavor, and atmosphere that few other places achieve.
Whether you are stopping by for a casual lunch, a date night, or a celebratory dinner, every visit feels carefully crafted. From the attentive staff to the fragrant curries and perfectly baked breads, the experience leaves a lasting impression. Itβs not just about food; itβs about enjoying a cultural journey with every bite.

This place is really awesome. They have delicious food and a fantastic kids menu. Their cocktails plus in house smoothies are very unique and tasty. It is a bit pricey so keep that in mind.
I ate here with my boyfriend, and the food was amazing! I had the chicken tikka masala and the samosas, and they were great!! The lights add a lot to the astmosphere, and the servers and cashier were so friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend Khana, and Iβll be coming back!
I feel like this is a very americanized Indian restaurant. We ordered Chicken Coconut Malai and Chicken Tikka (which are the best sellers according to the staff) and both were unsatisfactory. The flavor was just not there yet. The samosas were pretty great though. However, the service and the ambience were great. The toilet is really clean and they even had a small bench inside.
One of the best spots in NWA for North Indian-style food! The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and the vibe is just right for a laid-back meal. Whether youβre planning a casual hangout with friends or a relaxed evening with great food and drinks, this place has you covered. For folks in Bentonville or Rogers, itβs totally worth the 30-minute drive to Fayetteville. From flavorful curries to refreshing beverages and an inviting atmosphere, this gem makes the trip worthwhile. If youβre craving North Indian cuisine that hits the spotβthis is it!
I have been a big fan of Khana for many years. There is a sense the food is carefully controlled for freshness and quality. The 3 sauces I tasted were perfect and the cheese chunks in my dish were delicious. Yes the prices are high, especially for someone like me living in France. But cost of food and sales tax are what they are. Thanks for maintaining such high standards, a real challenge in a food businessβ¦
Our go-to Indian restaurant is definitely Khana! I always order the Chole with a veg samosa and itβs never disappointed me ordering dine in or delivery. The atmosphere is so bright and pretty, even just driving by you can see how beautiful it is inside. I would definitely recommend this place if youβre craving Indian food!
